Bear blog after 1 year
Noticed an event in my Google calendar for tomorrow.
"Bearblog annual due. Evaluate, extend or stop"
So let's evaluate.
- I didn't blog as much as I thought I would
- This post would be my 20th post. Only 20 post in a year.
- At $26.64 a year, that's $1.3/post
- The 50% discount is forever (thank you Herman)
- Financially, I can afford it.
- Still not sure I want to commit as lifetime member.
- Herman is still the same. Bear blog is still the same. It will last.
- Recent Bear's manifesto is assuring
- Nothing AI. I like it.
- Considering self-host, simple personal website.
- But self-host means self-maintain
- And self-host doesn't guarantee I will write more.
- Writing this post has been enjoyable.
- Finally fell in love with MSDos theme
