Going back to Casio F-91W watch
During morning coffee yesterday, a friend showed his Amazfit Helio strap, which records quality of sleep, heart rate, steps counter, etc. This way, he can monitor his body stats while wearing analogue, mechanical watch.
I was wearing my Garmin Solar Instinct, bought in Oct 2020. Almost 5 years ago. I only need step counter and heart rate nowadays. In battery saver mode, the Solar Instinct can last 30 days on a single charge. Nice.
The conversation made me consider to get the Helio strap as well. With the strap, I can also wear mechanical watch. Hamilton Khaki Mechanical watch with bronze casing looks good, and the patina will create unique pattern.
Wait, what am I after again? Why am I suddenly surfing the net, checking out the price for a Hamilton Khaki Mechanical watch?
I have a Casio F-91W watch that has far superior accuracy than a mechanical watch, and a single battery can last at least a year. It tells time just as well, minus the flashy, conspicuous look.
As for the step counting, it's just a rough guide. I can just make time to walk a few hours to make sure I get enough exercise.
I'll stick to my Casio for now. It's simpler.
